Finally, time to relax [EDITED]

Sat Jul 26, 2008, 5:59 PM
RULES:
1. Post these rules.
2. Each tagged person should post 8 facts of themselves.
3. Tagged people should write a journal\blog about these facts.
4. In the end tag and name 8 people.
5. Go to their DA pages and comment saying that they are tagged.

8 Facts about me:

1. I've been riding horses for 12/13 years. This means I've been riding since I was six years old. *Nodnod*
2. I'm writing a vampire trilogy, although technically none of the books tie into each other and they're about a different character each time. (Micah being one of them)
3. I hate reading out loud. I don't like the sound of my voice.
4. I am the middle of four siblings. When my eldest sister goes away I like to pretend I'm the oldest since I'm next in line.
5. I'm a cat person. I have a half siamese kitten who is just the cutest thing alive. Her name is Qwyn and she was my birthday present. I do like dogs though and want a german shepherd puppy some day.
6. I'm obsessed with criminal justice/criminology. I read body language reading books all the time and watch biographies of serial killers like Ted Bundy all the time for fun.
7. I love drawing, but unlike some people I don't have a fixed subject for my work, nor do I really have a persona/fursona. I wish I did! Maybe someday?
8. My favorite number is 5, my favorite color(s) are earth tones, but I do like a very dark pink.

I tag, Elycien, Hoaxion, RainbowAcid, silvermoonfox, biketheif, daeshadi, fanficstorygirl, it-ktdf

County is over. FINALLY! It was fun, not too bad for my first year. I can't wait to do it again, this time I'll be riding english and western, not just western. I'm thinking about taking Auggie the Haflinger as well as Libby the morgan. *hugs her morgan lady* She was a dream. We had a little problem in our first class, Western pleasure. She spooked and scared me. :) We didn't place, but I was glad to have it over with. I kind of had a meltdown once that class was over, but I drank some water and walked her around a bit to relax us both.

Our next class was a pattern class and that was much more fun.

Start at cone a.

jog to cone b.

Stop and turn a 360 degree circle (so basically a pivot)

lope on the right lead to cone c.

stop at cone c and back up five steps.

<33 I don't want to brag, but we did really good. We won fifth place, which wasn't great, but wasn't bad either. I was proud of her, and me. So that was it for the pleasure/pattern classes. Then I entered in barrels. Our time was 44.3 seconds. Not bad for a horse who had only practiced barrels at a trot and had only competed barrels twice before.

Now that it's all done, I'm not sure what to do with myself. I know I have some trades to catch up on, so bear with me as I get them drawn/scanned/colored.

<3 I'm going to go hang out with 'the boy' tomorrow. We're going to go see The Dark Knight again.

  • Mood: Eager

  • Reading: I can read you like a book
  • Watching: Psych
  • Playing: nothing
  • Eating: mac n' cheese
  • Drinking: milk

Congrats! ^^ Sounds like you had a lot of fun there. ^^
Have a good time seeing The Dark Knight (incredibly sadistic, wasn't it?)

Starving doesn't make you an artist.
But it does make those colored pencils look pretty tasty...

Morbidly funny is how I would put it. :)
